I searched the internet for an attractive looking computer chair as my ‘office’ is set up in the kitchen.
This doesn’t disappoint.
It’s comfortable and back is happy that I’m no longer sat at the kitchen table for hours every day.
It was delivered really quickly and easy to put together.

Sadly the chair does not fit to the legs, the screw holes do not match up. Had to request a replacement. I doubt I will buy from Laura James again, very sad.

Nice chair for a home office or kids bedroom space have bought two now black and grey, both looks lovely, if use by a child may require a cushion for back to provide support for their back otherwise. A decent chair.

Nice grey upholstery on a swivel office chair, which is smart and useful. Bought as a present for a granddaughter, who loves using it for schoolwork and hobbies. Good purchase and good value.

I had been keeping an eye on this chair for a couple of months and it was the first time I heard of Laura James.
I was after something that didn't take up huge amounts of space but made a good, comfortable office chair whilst WFH. This seemed perfect but a tad steep.
I read the reviews and they seemed relatively good overall (apart from the odd mention of the lack of padding in the seat seat) decided to take the plunge and go with the positives.

Unfortunately, (not Laura James fault)the package turned up a little battered thanks to the courier.

I was hoping that the chair was in one peice.
On first inspection, the back of the chair had a noticeable dent in, some of the threading was coming away on the arm of the chair, scuffs on legs but more importantly the seat, after barely sitting on it for only a couple of hours, was flat as a pancake.
I reached out to CS with photo evidence. They were very quick to reply and willing to resolve the issue ASAP

They offered to replace part of the chair (not a whole chair) but I was advised that i would need to dispose the old parts myself, which would cost me. I kindly declined.
I was then offered £15 refund but I felt this was quite a poor offer for a £103 chair that turned up in a bad condition.
I understand that sometimes these things happen when items are in transit but no excuse regarding the overall quality. Especially I have now had to fork out more money to get a padded seat.

I'd say for quality, I would have paid £40.

Overall, their customer services team were on form but sadly I'd recommend going elsewhere for a good quality chair.
