When opened one of the sideboard doors was chipped which was very disappointing and the product is being returned. Quality assurance at place of manufacture is letting you down as Laura James customer service is good.

I’ve received a box 1 and a box 2, only problem is that the same contents is in both of the boxes and I’m missing all of the very important fixings and instructions?

Chairs from this website are great although they require a lot of assembly. We ordered 3 pieces of furniture including this item and all looked like returns items! Every piece had damage. Very low ‘partial refund’ issues for items that required fixing before putting together! Wouldn’t order from here again!

Avoid this product. I ordered this with the matching tv unit. Both arrived on time and the tv unit is lovely and decent quality for the price.

Opened the sideboard, which comes in two cartons to find that I’d been sent a duplicate carton. Thought that was fine, mistakes occur. Re-ordered and asked that collection of the wrong one and delivery of the new one take place at my work address as I had already taken time off to wait for the original delivery.

Collection happened then the next day I get a delivered notification. Nowhere to be found at work. Arrived home after work to see that it had been left on my door step exposed to the elements and anyone passing my house.

Opened it to find that yet again I’d been sent duplicate cartons. Customer service have been helpful but it continues. They ask me to send a list of parts I have, telling me the missing parts would be posted. Get a third delivery and parts are still missing.

Finally with all parts in hand, I’ve built the sideboard this afternoon. It has taken nearly 4 hours and the quality is awful. The doors and drawers are higgledy piggledy and don’t fit as they should.

I am also now left with about 7 large cardboard boxes and numerous spare parts which I will have to dispose of.

I am so disappointed with this and I have not yet been offered any compensation (apart from a £4.99 delivery fee). Customer services have been helpful but I just do not feel that this is acceptable.

So disappointed as the tv unit is great and if this hadn’t occurred, I’d likely order other pieces.

Other than the delivery there was nothing right with the service. The sideboard came damaged in many different places, and when i requested it be collected it was supposed to be collected on a monday due to me being on night shift and the courier never came until wednesday morning without any heads up.

Ok but some damage on the sideboard if you let me know how to send pictures so not good really

A really good quality sideboard did take forever to build. I'm in love with these draws, there are a few chips to the paint which isn't ideal but you can't really notice them. Can't wait to put my things into the draws.

Great sideboard. Good instructions, just the hinges that are a little tricky to get right. Will be back soon for another purchase.
