The sofa bed in green velvet looks lovely and seems well made. I haven’t slept on it yet. My only gripe is that there were no holes drilled for the legs so my husband really struggled to attached the legs. The instructions say not to use an electric drill but it was nearly impossible screwing the screws into solid wood. He almost gave up and returned it. Glad he persevered though as it is lovely and will come in handy.

Ordered Una single sofa bed - blue - velvet. The quality is good and easy to adjust. The mattress is not very thick and you might need an extra cover if planning to sit or sleep for a long period. The delivery had been faster than expected(10 days earlier) which was a great surprize.

Bought the grey velvet version for our 10 yr old daughter’s room, so she can have friends to stay. Cleverly made & easy to convert from chair to bed. Smaller than expected but perfect for her room as not too ostentatious. It’s not the softest, comfiest seat when in chair position, but as a bed there is more cushioning and everyone who has slept on it has said it was comfy! The chair legs are mahogany, which we felt didn’t match, so sprayed them gold, as you can see in the photo.
The courier service was disappointing as the chair didn’t arrive until 2 days after the tracking said without any update or warning. We had bought it for our daughter’s birthday which was 10th March, and delivery said between 3-7th. It didn’t arrive until the 9th! Beware!

Purchased this as didn’t want to overcrowd a small room with a bed as it is to used infrequently. This fits the bill perfectly, nice looking chair although a bit solid to sit on but hey! who sits on chairs in bedrooms! The small single bed is perfect for my grandson and I did purchase a mattress topper for hygiene purposes and to make it a little softer to sleep on. It transforms easily from chair to bed and is very sturdy. Very pleased with my purchase.

It looks great and it is a good sofabed.
As a sofa not so much as the seat is a bit too hard and needed another pillow to allow for a comfortable position.
Overall we were happy.

I ordered the Una chair bed, single sleeper, from Laura James and a double sofa bed of similar design from another site. For sleeping both would be described as firm but the Una chair bed is better overall. I got mattress pads because the other one arrived first and when folded out as a bed you could feel ridges where the sections folded so I hoped a mattress pad would help. The Una single, even without a mattress pad, is much more nicely padded and comfortable for sleeping on than the other one.

Both sofa chairs I ordered are damaged. I arranged a return the next day. Laura James promptly arranged a courier to pick up however the courier has not shown up a handful of times I’ve been advised they would come. Very frustrating as I have made it a point to stay home those days all day waiting...

I am very pleased with my two new chair beds. They were easy to build and look great. I can’t wait to use them when we have guests stay over.

This bed is beautiful. Was bought for a spare guest room and it is so classy. It even arrived before schedule.

The order dispatched quickly to Tufnells who proceeded to lose a single sofabed. Tbf the customer service from LJ was good. They offered to send a new one but the colour my girl wanted was out of stock. This was meant to be her big Christmas present. Found similar at Dunelm but not as nice. Really disappointed.
