We are so pleased with the storage units. They are good quality, were easy to put together and look very stylish in our son's bedroom. Very satisfied customers.

Clearly designed to be upright
The description says it can go on its side, but if it does then only fragile dowels hold the shelves in position (some of which broke during assembly). When upright the shelves are screwed in place and held up by the centre panels.
I wouldn't recommend it horizontally if it is expected to hold much weight or little ones playing around it, but upright it is fine.

Great storage unit
The unit arrived promptly and was carefully packed. It is sturdy and it was easy to put together. Looks smart too. We are using it for toy and book storage and may well buy another. Very pleased with this storage unit and would highly recommend
