Putting the desk together took me back 20 years when self assembled was rubbish. Normally dowels should be tight to fit but not with this , as soon as you moved a panel the other side would fall out .
The worst part was the draw side which I found impossible to fix together and pick up without it falling to pieces. Loads a glue and a bit of time did fix this problem but should not have been necessary.
I gave it 2 stars because the delivery time was quick and when assembled it doesn't look to bad considering the price ,apart from the small but frequent bits of the grey veneer chipped and what looks like felt tip pen to colour in the chip .
If cash is tight I might buy again with a purchase of glue but otherwise stay clear .

Very poor quality and not what you would expect from this brand.

Cracks in panels, chipped edges and alignment issues.

The unit is held together by air. Similar to the cheap units from IKEA but I would honestly say that IKEA is better quality than this product.

I am quite good at DIY and it took me 4 hours to make up desk and 2 hours for side table. Not worth my time tbh.

I have not sent product back because I have made it work by hiding the faulty elements so that my daughters xmas was not ruined.

I am unlikely to buy from this brand again. Quality is too low and they expect to much of the purchaser to build and make good this product. I do not expect that it will last long. For example, parts of the door are so thin that a simple knock will likely break it.

I have given 2 stars rather than 1 because instructions were good.

It was a bit confusing to out together but one we figured it out, it is amazing, very sturdy and fit in well with my home furniture

Desk is great, just what I was after and a good price compared to similar proudcts with well-known high street brands. However, it arrived with the paint peeled in a few places so falls just short of a 5-star review

Takes time to put together although instructions reasons clear. Minor chip in unfortunate place at front of desk. Looks good when complete - solid bit of furniture.

half of the desk arrived in a beat up box that had been obviously been opened. there was red splotches all over it that looked like blood (i have photos of these). there was not enough C screws and fell apart almost every time it was tried to be moved. not happy at all with how long it took to put up either, around 8 hours with 2 people.

Overall this is very poor quality. For the price I was expecting this to be better thank it was. The fixing are very poor and broke. The cam bolts used to connect most elements broke way to easy. I’ve had to use wood glue and clamp the whole this together so so I can use the desk. Avoid buying.

This desk is not worth the money, it is absolutely horrendous quality and terrible to put together. The wooden pegs to insert in holes are too small and just fall out, the screws round off with the slightest pressure, the wood has cracks in it and then are just laminated over.

Honestly wish I’d never bought it, but after using perseverance it’s up, but if this is anything to go by the Bampton range should be avoided.

I am so disappointed with the desk I purchased. I have had it built for about a week now and it is literally falling apart. The drawers don't fit on the rollers so every time you open one it falls off the roller. And it's nothing to do with the build as we have built over 20 flat pack furniture peices in the last couple of weeks due to home renovation so we know what we're doing.
